  • How are Envi Blocks made?
    Similar to a pellet, Envi Blocks are made of a blend of hardwoods and mechanically compressed into a larger block size using 24,000 pounds of pressure. There are no glues or additives, so what holds these blocks together is all-natural sap.
  • Where do Envi blocks come from?
    They are made by Bio-Diversity located in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
  • Does Lumberjack Joe Deliver?
    Yes, we deliver to all of Long Island. We stack where ever you prefer on the ground level, 3 steps up and 3 steps down.
  • How to Store the Envi Blocks
    Envi Blocks are made of Compressed sawdust. This means they must be stored in a dry space. They cannot get any water on them at all. The blocks are wrapped in a porous plastic. So that does not protect them. We always recommend that they are stored inside the house ( garage, basement, ect). If you Must store them outside, they need to be off the ground and covered on all sides with a tarp. We will provide a pallet for easier storage.
  • How long do the Envi and Envi 8 Blocks burn?
    The "Envi 8" burns upwards of 4-6 hours* "The Envi" burns upwards to 8-10 hours*

    Yes, the Envi blocks are 100% kiln dried and on average contain 6% moisture.

  • How do I light the Envi Blocks?
    When lighting the Envi Blocks you're going to want to put them in a tepee-like formation. Starting with 2 blocks parallel with each other, going up and down and your fire starter in the middle. Then, what you're going to do is put two more blocks also parallel with each other but going left and right. Next, you're going to grab your lighter and light the fire starter and that will cause the top blocks to light first.
  • How big are the Envi and Envi 8 blocks?
    The Envi 8 is: 3 ¼” x 2 ¾” x 9 ½" and weighs 3-4LBS The Envi is: 4”x 4” x 10 ¼" and weighs 6-7LBS
  • Can I cook with Envi Blocks?
    Absolutely! Being that these firewood blocks burn so clean and have no chemicals or additives they're great for cooking with and work perfectly with pizza ovens and all other kinds of brick ovens .
  • Where can I burn the Envi blocks?
    These blocks can used as firewood in wood stoves, fireplaces, fire pits and wood furnaces.
